French Language Health Planning Entity2 Appoints New Executive Director
(Hamilton, Ontario) – The Board of Directors of the French Language Health Planning Entity of Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant and Waterloo Wellington is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Sébastien Skrobos as Executive Director of Entité2.
"The Entity has held an extensive recruitment campaign within Ontario and in the Canadian Francophonie, with the help of Affex Executive Search," explains the Chair of the Board of Directors, Ms. Kosita Musabye. "We are very pleased to have been able to attract so many qualified applicants and to have found a candidate with the skills Mr. Skrobos possesses.”
Mr. Skrobos holds a Masters’ degree in territorial development and new media. He has more than seven years of community management experience. He currently holds the position of Project and Development Coordinator at the Regional ACFO in Hamilton, Ontario. An excellent communicator, he also served as a Director on the Entity’s Board of Directors for three years, where he was able to acquire an excellent knowledge of the health issues facing Francophones in Southwestern Ontario.
According to Ms. Musabye, "Mr. Skrobos' appointment is very timely since the Entity has just adopted a new strategic plan to increase the proactive offer of French language health services in the regions we serve."
The Board also takes this opportunity to acknowledge the departure of Ms. Jocelyne Blais-Breton who contributed so much to the success of the Entity. "Mrs. Blais-Breton has been a model of dedication and commitment to the advancement of French language services, and for that we extend to her a heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Francophone communities in our regions," concludes Ms. Musabye.
